Where to buy a reasonably-priced DSLR Nikon Camera here in the Philippines?
We are planning to buy a DSLR Camera (preferably Nikon) for family use. I know it costs a lot to buy one so I want to make sure that what we’re going to buy is worth every peso.
All informative answers will be greatly appreciated!

There are two authorized Nikon dealers in the country that I know of. This is very important to avail of service priorities when you will do need it later.
If you are good at haggling, I recommend you go to Hidalgo St. near Quiapo church in Manila. There is a huge Columbia outlet there. You may also check out the other stores who will surely offer lower priced cameras. The only problem is that they are not official distributors so they won’t be able to offer service from an authorized service center.
Another option, a better one, is to go to http://www.sulit.com.ph and look for a camera offered by jcssss. Contact him by phone and inquire about the availability and a discounted price of the model you are interested in. He carries most of the major camera brands. He will arrange with you on which branch of Camerahaus you would pick up your item from. You will get the owner’s price with all the included benefits of a store purchase like warranty, extra accessories and a reliable service center to go to just in case in the future.
